+ Noah Zyduck sent me some photos of a recent trip he took to the Flow. They can be found here. + I scanned and uploaded the Website of the Month article from Ride. Check it out. + If you haven't seen Troy's Gallery on the photos page, check it out. I just uploaded a bunch of new stuff that he shot for class. + The new Shook video titled "Winteractive" is out now, and I hear its really really good. Reggie's will probably have it, if not check Shookin.com. + There's a good video of the Albe's contest that went down a few weeks ago over at BMX.cc. + The "Let The Good Times Roll" DVD will be available through Dan's soon. And new Perspectives shirts are in the works and should be available within the next couple of weeks. This round of shirts will have a new design and are being done right by the crew at Ambition21. I'll post photos of them when I get them. + The end of my year in Toledo is fast approaching. By Weds. of next week I plan to be moved out of my apartment. I'm kind of bummed that most of this week has been spoiled by rain, but hopefully I can make it out and ride with some of you before I go. I'll be living with Troy for the summer, and next weeks update will probably be made from there. I'll be back into a new apartment in Toledo in August. -Bud |

![]() I'm probably givin' away some bangers in the Death Industries video with this one, but this picture is way too good to hold back. And I'm sure he'll be doin' even crazier stuff by the time the video is finished. Casey Longshore is the man. ![]() We stopped at TRP on Saturday night hoping that there would be someone there who could show us around to a few street spots, but we weren't aware of the contest going on at The Wharehouse. So we decided to stay and ride there for the last hour of the session. Troy Merkle, tight-tranny boost. ![]() Spot Check/Nathan Powell bio video. Right click and save. 15.2mb. |
+ This past weekend Troy, Casey, Jon, Tony, Mojo, Jim, Adam, and myself did a little riding in Michigan. Friday night we rode Ann Arbor real late then spent the night, or got some sleep the next morning at Tim D's apartment in Detroit. Thanks for letting us stay Tim, and I'm sorry about the girl scout cookies. + I put together a little spot check video of Nathan's yard. Thanks goes out to the Powell family for being so hospitable and letting us crash their yard. NATHAN'S YARD VIDEO. + There's a rumor floating around that the old Woodville ramps may be re-constructed by some new owners at a new location. I'd say it's just rumors so far, but we'll see. With any luck Toledo will have an indoor skatepark again. + Eric Halka is in desperate need of some forks. If you have some old ones lyin' around and could stand to get rid of them, hook him up. + The people over at Peg Leg just posted a really good street video. I'd definitely check it out if you've got the time, it's well worth it. + I posted some new media goods. The list of new pictures includes photos of: Jim, Troy, Dougy-Fresh, Shannon, Casey, Adam, and Jon. There are also two new video clips; one of Ben and myself. Since Troy got his new Nikon D70(soo nice) he's given me his old Sony digital camera to use. So I'll be taking photos more often. You Toledo kids better get out there and snap it up with me before I move to Dayton for the summer(2 weeks). -Bud |

+ The Albe's Contest at Modern Skatepark went down on Sunday. I wasn't able to be there, but I've heard that it was insane. Check out all of the photos that are up on bmx.cc and teamyoungbmx.com. + Jon Bechtold sent me a how-to of sorts on adding a subrail to a street spot. Check it out... + Doug Laymen has been shipped out for Marine boot camp. I know you won't even get to see a computer for awhile, but best of luck to ya Doug. Toledo will be thinkin' about ya. + Eric K. filmed me doin' a few things at the last Woodville session, and Biker Ben edited them together. Thanks guys! Right Click > Save. + Kind of a small update this time around, but I'll have more next week. -Bud |

![]() Jim tried this fufanu during some of the last sessions at Woodville. He came really close a few times, but couldn't quite get it b/c it moved so much. Right click the photo and save to see it in the video. ![]() Jon Bechtold; ledge smith in Miamisburg. |
+ Woodville is closed now. I know I'm not the only person to say that the place will be missed. Hopefully someone opens something soon. Toledo needs an indoor park. I made a video with some footage we shot over the final week at Woodville. FINAL SESSIONS AT WOODVILLE VIDEO + The Albes Contest at Modern Skatepark is coming up this weekend. It sounds like it should be a pretty good contest. Albes.com + Troy, Jon, and Tony came up to Toledo for a couple of days last week. So I uploaded some of the photos that Troy took while they were here, and some he shot back in Dayton. 5 new street photos of Jon Bechtold, 1 ramp photo of Jim Baaske, 1 street photo of Matt Burchett. + Troy is getting a new camera tomorrow. It's real fancy, don't expect the shutter to stop for a few days as he gets used to his new toy. What does this mean? More pictures on the site, more often. Why? B/c he'll be taking more, and I'll be inheriting his old Sony. Score! -Bud |
