+ Troy and I went to the Moraine Skatepark the other day to check things out. It can be a pretty fun place, but things were built a little backwards. Every ramp and obstacle is made out of cement and coated with a super slick paint. If you can imagine riding on a freshly waxed tile floor, or ice, that's probably what its like. And every ledge and rail is aluminum. Without a pound of wax they stick real bad. Nevertheless it's still pretty fun and nice to have nearby. Oh, and they have a sort of unique sub-box.

+ In case you haven't seen the new shirts yet, they're now available through the online store. If you aren't able to order online, and live around Toledo or Michigan, get ahold of Jim Baaske at Adrian Lock and Bike. If that doesn't work for you either, drop me an email at bud.perspectivesbmx[at]gmail.com

+ It's sad but true, ESP Skatepark in Michigan has closed it's doors. They're selling off ramps and other stuff from the park. If you're interested check, extremesportspalace.com for more info.

+ Can you imagine what it would be like to ride around the world on your bike? One young lad intends to do just that. Read about it at www.atwo20.com.

+ More new photos! Troy Merkle: 1 2 3, Auston Gregory: 1, Joey Cook: 1 2, and myself: 1.
Be on the look out for a Pittsburgh trip story and photos, a PerspectivesBMX garage sale, and a long overdue overhaul of the spots section of the site.

The DC SkatePlaza in Kettering will have its grand opening events on Sat. June 11th. I just hope that we can ride there someday...

This rail is practically across the street from our apartment. One night Troy decided he wanted to check it out. Within 10 minutes he crank arm slid it among other things that you'll have to wait to see.

I know it's a skate photo, but Joey rules. If you don't know Joey Cook you should. Say hi to him the next time you go to Ollies.

An early afternoon session at Miamisburg featuring Troy Merkle... RIGHT CLICK>SAVE.

Jon Bechtold got his bike back and all charges were dropped. Check out his bike check here.

You're gonna see a lot more of Troy Merkle this summer. Troy pullin' a big fakie tuck at the Springfield park. Check out his photography.
+ Subdivision Tradeshow went down this past weekend. Jim, Brett, Shannon, and myself made the trip to represent at the Felony booth. If you've never been to Subdivision you should try to make it next year. Get a glimpse of our Subdivision experience here.

+ Jon "The Gremlin" Bechtold is a free man! As you already know the trio that was cuffed up downtown already got their bikes back, but Jon had his hearing yesterday. It only lasted a few minutes b/c the judge thought it was the most rediculous case he's seen in awhile. All charges were dropped and dismissed. Casey and Mojo still have to go to court, but I wouldn't expect a ruling that's much different.
Check out Jon's bike check.

+ I've got a couple new videos for you to check out. The first is a little session video Troy and I filmed at Miamisburg the other afternoon. The other is a video submitted by Ben Stalets filmed over a couple sessions at Nathan's yard and Chenga.
Troy Merkle Session(5.8mb)
Nathan's and Chenga Sessions(17.9mb)

+ Word on the street says there's going to be a contest at Zero Gravity Skatepark real soon. Possibly even this sunday? Check zerogravitysk8.com for more info.

+ I uploaded lots of new pictures. Auston Gregory: 1 2 3, Thomas Arend: 1 2 3 4, Nathan Powell: 1 2, Shannon Thomas: 1 2, Mitch Baker: 1 2, Ryan from Springfield: 1 2 3 4 5 6, Ben Stalets: 1, Adam Baumker: 1, Tony Cherry: 1, Jon Bechtold: 1 2, and Troy Merkle: 1 2 3 4.

+ Tomorrow Shannon, Jim, myself, and possibly Brett will be heading out for the Subdivision Tradeshow in Johnson City, NY. We'll be holdin' things down at the Felony booth during the day and riding in the evenings. Stop by and say hi to us if you're at the tradeshow.

+ The new T-shirts are in. They're available in either red or blue and in sizes Sm, Med, and Lg. I'll have them with me at Subdivision and they should be available on the site very soon. Click here to see them.

+ I've got a couple new bike checks for you to check out. Casey Longshore and Reggie's Ugly Bike.

+ Jon, Casey, and Mojo got their bikes back, but still have to go to court to get a verdict. Along with downtown Dayton it sounds like Middletown Skatepark has been a bust lately as well. A couple people have been given tickets for trespassing over the past few days. Keep an eye out if you go.

+ Paul Fisher's new band Every Bridge Burned recorded a new EP. The songs can be heard on purevolume.com/everybridgeburned.

A few of us went to Springfield the other night and watched this kid do 9 different tricks on this wobbly rail. I didn't catch his lastname, but he's Ryan and he's real good.

Troy and I have been riding trails the past few days. Here he is at the Coasters.

Troy Merkle: crank arm slide on the ghetto rail.

Video clip of Auston Gregory bunnyhopping a bike rack to manual 180 off the curb. See more video clips here.
+ Sometimes street riding isn't all that it's cracked up to be. Jon, Casey, and Mojo all ended up in jail Saturday night after they were caught riding in downtown Dayton. They're still not sure if they'll get their bikes back. More on that after the judge makes his verdict.

+ A group of riders from Cincinatti are putting out a video called From Nothing. I checked out the trailer and it looks pretty good. See for yourself by clicking here.

+ Troy sent me a few photos of him and Jon. I've uploaded those, as well as a couple video clips of Auston and myself.

+ After I get everything set up in Dayton I'll have a bike check with Reggie's "Ugly Bike" done by Auston Gregory, and more photos and goodies.
